These sketchbooks were designed by Matthew Boyer, an apparel designer & product developer with +11 years in the industry. After noticing a strong need for better communication between design & development, he set out to create a sketchbook that focuses on sharing designs with accuracy and all the details needed to turn sketches into reality.

After attending the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising (FIDM) in Downtown Los Angeles, Matthew went straight into working as a developer in the fashion industry. Honing his skills in design & development. He gained valuable personal insight into the design process & the best ways to translate ideas into finished goods for todays market. After seeing the need, he created these sketchbooks as a tool to help share designs with better communication to vendors, factories, developers, and other team members.
 
With this book, designers are able to create & sketch freely while also organizing selected fabrics & trims. This streamlines the development process and helps structure brands of all sizes and turn ideas into physical, functional, and selling product.
